This was a volunteer that was growing in a potted plant as a little twig. I thought it was some kind of red maple tree. We planted it last spring and it took awhile but finally took off. Today, 10/31/20 about 2;30pm. I saw 2 open blooms on it and searched Garden.org and found it! I just went to take a photo and the blooms were curled up 5:30pm - see photo. There are lots more buds on it!
