Aeonium (Aeonium haworthii 'Dream Color') |
Have Sedums and Succulents |
Is growing well. Needs adjustment for protection from too much rain or too much sun. "That exquisite coloring that is unique to the Kiwi Aeonium is largely dependent on getting sufficient sun. However, these guys are prone to burning more than other succulents might be. Where a Kalanchoe might thrive in direct sunlight all day, the Kiwi only wants direct sunlight for a couple of hours. Use a grow light if you have trouble getting enough light indoors." |
June 4, 2021: Obtained plant (Obtained at a local nursery) September 16, 2021 - September 21, 2021: Cuttings took (Plant grew well with sunlight for part of the day. White Snakeroot (Ageratina altissima 'Chocolate') |
Have New plants and seeds Perennials Pollinators, Natives, Wildflowers |
New in 2022 Received this plant from Joyce in June. Attractive leaves. It prefers to have water, especially when transplanting, but handled it well and did well in the heat in Michigan summer. Pretty flowers in September when not much else is blooming. So far does not seem aggressive. Is toxic to humans if ingested, especially if cows ingest it and then humans drink the milk or eat the meat. (Story of Lincoln's mother.) |
September 26, 2022: Bloomed (Lovely white blooms) October 1, 2022: Transplanted (Received plant from a friend (Joyce). Transplanted and needed plenty of water to help it settle in. Once it was watered well, it handled the heat just fine. So far is growing well in the border. Does not seem aggressive. Attractive flowers when not much else is blooming.) |
