[ Flowering Maple (Abutilon Sweet Tea™ Southern Charm) | Posted on June 1, 2018 ]

Made it through the winter with just a daylight bulb for light, and it bloomed at a slower rate, but it bloomed all winter. Got scraggly early spring, so I trimmed it up before setting back outside for another year. I've taken cuttings from it. It is hard to get rooting from the cuttings; I try five and one will live. But enough to share with friends.

This is such a prolific bloomer. As it adds new stems, there are multiple flowers as well. Loving the hot weather. Test will be when it is brought inside for winter. Such a great plant to have in any garden. This one is best started as a hanging plant.
