Mine always blooms mid season. It is an amazing bloomer, lots of buds in the first place and then lots of rebooms. A really bright one!

I really enjoy my North Wind Dancer, but it is too bad the scapes are so weak. Every year I have to tie strings around them to a pole to make them stand up. Others I know have the same problem. In this light, I'm surprised it won the Stout. It does, however, have everything else going for it: bud count, height, great blooms, etc.

I eventually gave up on Evening Trail. It is such a nice color & has great form, but the blooms are way too few to justify taking up space.

Every year this gives an excellent show. By the looks of the other photos, other people also get great shows from it.

This is such a good flower. It has very heavy substance and near perfect blooms every time. Its bloom season is long and there are plenty of buds. I've begun to do crosses, and I got an excellent child from it [at least the first year was good] crossed with Fiordiligi.

Good late bloomer. It has black shading on the red that the camera can never catch.

One of my favorite daylilies; such a great blend of colors. Usually a coral-rose blend. It can vary, but the picture I posted is the most common color combination that I get, and my favorite.

Reliable oldie

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Christopher Russell') | Posted on September 13, 2017 ]

Never bloomed well until I moved it to where it gets late morning thru evening sun. Blooms like crazy now. Doesn't fade.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Carmen Renee') | Posted on September 13, 2017 ]

A truly excellent plant. It blooms and increases very well. It gives a great show almost every day of its bloom season. The first year I got it, it didn't seem to know it was moved. It just bloomed like it'd always been here.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Prismatic') | Posted on September 13, 2017 ]

It is an awesome bloomer. Lots and lots of buds, gives a great show for almost a month.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Regal Heir') | Posted on September 13, 2017 ]

For years this flower only bloomed "just okay" or not so good. Discovered that it doesn't care about morning sun but wants later morning/afternoon/evening full sun. Now it blooms like crazy, and reblooms.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Amethyst Art') | Posted on September 13, 2017 ]

I agree it was slow to establish but after about 3 years it greatly improved and now, after about 5 years it is wonderful. I don't usually like doubles, but I like it as it is so neat.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Erin Farmer') | Posted on September 13, 2017 ]

I'd call the color pink or coral pink, and it is a bitone as well.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Acclaim') | Posted on September 13, 2017 ]

I'd call the color Coral. I see nothing of purple color in any year.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Lilly and Petals') | Posted on September 13, 2017 ]

This was named for Dave Bowman's cats

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Barracuda Bay') | Posted on July 15, 2017 ]

This is spelled wrong. It has two r's--Barracuda Bay.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Vintage Wine') | Posted on March 7, 2017 ]

Through the many years I've had it, has been consistently reliable and puts on a good show.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Maleny Debutante') | Posted on March 7, 2017 ]

Spring 2017 While the description doesn't say it reblooms, It reblooms very well for me. Sometimes it reblooms over and over all summer.
July 2020 For four years now, after having 4 or so great years, it has barely bloomed no matter what I have done for it.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Belle Isle Sentry') | Posted on March 7, 2017 ]

This is one of my first daylilies to bloom in early June. It is always loaded with blooms. It doesn't rebloom until late and it is one of my last daylilies to blooming, usually when the frost causes it to die back in October.
