[ Split-Leaf Philodendron (Monstera deliciosa) | Posted on November 26, 2022 ]

We had a beautiful Split Leaf in Central Florida.
Neighborhood felines enjoyed the shade of the large leaves.
The humans decorated the leaves with tiny white lights - woven in and out of the branches during Christmas holidays.
We sold the house and moved 'home' to North Carolina - but made the mistake of returning to the on-line photos to see if they had been taken down.
No, not taken down -- but another set was added.
The Split-Leaf was removed along with most of the plants enjoyed by birds, bees and butterflies.
I would like to think there will be KARMA for those responsible for it.

[ Orange (Citrus x aurantium 'Valencia') | Posted on November 26, 2022 ]

Skin is somewhat thin - roll orange on the counter prior to juicing.

Save the peel for Holiday Potpourri - orange peel + cloves + cinnamon stick + water.

In an old pot, heat on the stove and the aroma is superb.

Any orange will work for this Holiday Aroma.

Valencia oranges have some of the best juice. Had a Valencia tree in Florida .. bountiful and shared with neighbors.
