[ Garden Phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Delta Snow') | Posted on July 31, 2013 ]

I love this phlox. It's highly mildew resistant and blooms continuously from mid summer into autumn. The flowers have a pleasant fragrance that is not too strong or light. The plant in bloom reaches about four feet in height with large clusters of pale pink to white blossoms with a purplish-pink eye. It forms a nice clump fairly quickly and attracts hummingbird (sphinx) moths, as well as all sorts of bees.

I probably just have a dud of a plant, but mine does not streak well and often puts out all blue eyes.

Bought this in 2011 as a first year TC plant, as well as The King, and it has been slow growing, but perhaps it didn't like where it was sited. It grows in a pot now.

IMO, this plant looks its best after it emerges, and less so when it goes through its color change.

Prolific little hosta that's great for borders.

Gorgeous sport of hosta 'Satisfaction' with wider edges and keeps getting better through the growing season as the center darkens and the edges become more gold.

A nice, prolific small hosta. Would make a good border plant.

Not much difference between this plant and Liberty, other than the leaves seem to be larger and the edges a little wider.

[ Hosta Shadowland® Wheee! | Posted on May 19, 2013 ]

Bought mine in 2011 as a one eyed, 1st yr TC plant. This year it has three eyes. Seems to be a moderate grower for me. It's growing in a full sun spot now, so I shall see how much it jumps in size next year.

Update (June 3 2014)

Wheee! did jump in size this year to 10 eyes. Seems to do well in full sun; it continuously grows new leaves throughout the season and doesn't seem to get scorched by the sun, as long as it gets enough water. And I love saying its name.

Wider, deeper gold edges than First Frost.

White center with green specks becomes misted with more green throughout the season.

Beautiful bright spring yellow plant with red petioles. Leaves green up in the summer.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Organized Chaos') | Posted on May 15, 2013 ]

Two different plants registered with the same name, only the older of the two (Salter's) is not in the registry?

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Ornamental Focus') | Posted on May 15, 2013 ]

Love this big flower. I grow it next to Quote The Raven because I like how their colors play off each other.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Storm Chaser') | Posted on May 13, 2013 ]

I love this daylily. It's a strong grower, increases well, sturdy scapes with lots of buds blooming over a long period, dark red blooms that reliably double. One of my favorites.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Transylvanian Cocktail') | Posted on May 12, 2013 ]

The blooms on this plant never like to fully open for me and the doubling is rather poor. There are better red doubles out there than this one. I bought it for the name for my Dracula daylily bed. Really the only reason I keep it.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Wolf Eyes') | Posted on May 12, 2013 ]

Very good performer for me. Good plant for the front of the border.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'You Angel You') | Posted on May 12, 2013 ]

Adorable little daylily, but not reliably double. Cute, nonetheless.

Good growing medium sized blue hosta. Keeps its blue color well. Purple petioles.
