The official description does not accurately describe the bloom.

I believe that RHS97D is not lobelia-blue, but rather very pale purple, and the falls are indeed very pale purple.

My suggested alternate is: Showy laced flowers in pale-purple, yellow and gold. Very pale purple standards with light yellow ochre falls, veined and edged in gold. Beard is white, tipped in gold.

Tall Bearded iris Jane Phillips does not seem to have a registered height - for the record, my mature plants all come in around 91cm.
