[ Passionflower (Passiflora coriacea) | Posted on November 4, 2017 ] I loved the visitors to our Passion Vine: Fritillaries, Zebra Longwing and one other that slips my mind at the moment. This vine is a host to these butterflies' eggs. But as we all know, passion vines are invasive. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if you could easily dig them up wherever they are not wanted, but alas, their root systems are extremely fragile and surprisingly able to grow quickly into the most hardened soils. |
