[ Million Bells (Calibrachoa MiniFamous™ Uno Double PlumTastic) | Posted on March 24, 2022 ]

Had a very nice hanging planter of this last season. Decided to bring it inside and try to overwinter it as a simple window plant. Worked without any issues, we'll once again have a nice full plant hanging on our porch again this year.

[ Carrot (Daucus carota var. sativus 'Pusa Rudhira') | Posted on May 29, 2020 ]

My first impression with this 'new to me' cultivar is that my germination rate was very, very low. Of around 30 seeds direct sown, only 9 have emerged. Had to re-plant with another cultivar to make up for it. I'll have more to add as the plants grow.

[ Grape (Vitis vinifera Cotton Candy®) | Posted on August 15, 2019 ]

Quite remarkably, this green grape does, indeed, taste of cotton candy. Super sweet. Only available in grocery stores for a bit more than a month each year.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Tutankhamun') | Posted on July 9, 2019 ]

Low bud counts hinder this otherwise excellent cultivar. Great pop of color in the flower beds, flowers held well above foliage and throws out poly blooms quite often.

[ Highbush Blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum 'Rubel') | Posted on February 20, 2018 ]

Smallish, but very sweet late season variety.

[ Potato (Solanum tuberosum 'Irish Cobbler') | Posted on February 20, 2018 ]

This potato grew very well for me here in New Hampshire. They were decent size (little bigger than a man's fist) and their production was good on a per-plant basis. A couple of them did display some hollow heart issues, but it was not a major issue. I used them for making mashed potatoes and they were very good in that role.
