[ Air Plant (Tillandsia tectorum) | Posted on February 7, 2019 ]

Culturing tectorum: Do not submerge this species in water or let it remain wet for any length of time. It likes to be misted lightly daily in a drier climate if there isn't sufficient dew in the morning or a mid level of humidity. It needs to dry rather quickly, so a light to medium mist is sufficient. They require more light than other species due to so much of it being reflected. Direct sunlight in window settings are appropriate for tectorum.
