Very fast growing and prolific. Does better than my Genovese, and bees seem to like it more as well. It's great in Asian dishes and soups. You can also make pesto out of it for later, or dry it for winter. It also is great as an additive to water. Blooms are a dark purple. The flavor doesn't change when it flowers.
