Very unusual looking flower heads composed of many tiny florets that make it look similar to a lilac. Sometimes referred to as the "popcorn hydrangea" because the flower heads look like partially opened popcorn. Flower petals are shaped like tiny spoons and it has a light fragrance. Prefers filtered light but can withstand morning sun. The mid-green leaves appear waxy and have serrations.
