    This has been the long-time standard for an early yellow corn. Still has good flavor for an early, but there are now many varieties that are are a week or more earlier. Short plant that sets ears close to the ground, making it susceptible to birds like Blue Jays. Performs well as a cool weather planting (March in my area). Yellows are not very popular here, so I have moved on to Silver Knight, Quickie, etc.
