Hairy green hybrid Echeveria (pulvinata x setosa / W. Taylor, 1932) with relatively large orange flowers in spring to summer. The flowers are various fiery tones, starting as red buds and opening to a yellowish interior. The rosette will grow to 6-8 inches across, on the larger side if offsets are removed regularly, and tends to profit from being restarted every 2-3 years. Otherwise it can fill a 12 inch pot. Robust grower and prolific offsetter (my plant makes 8-10 pups a year). Easy to start from offsets (trim stems to half an inch or less). Excellent indoor plant provided hours of daily sun year round. Loses much of its character (furriness, shape) in low light conditions. Provide excellent drainage and regular water for best results.

This hybrid has the same parentage as the very similar Echeveria 'Bombycina'.
