A very beautiful perennial. I know of no reports in the literature of this cultivar seeding in a garden. The Manitoba Study did not investigate 'Morden Pink' in a garden/horticultural context. I've used this cultivar, in limited garden locations, for twenty years and have never seen seedlings, even where a sprinkler system was in operation.
On the other hand, if it's not certain what purple loosestrife you have and if it's not continually monitored, it would be better to avoid using it, even if it's available and permitted.
