Best kept as a small shrub, I find it prefers more shade than sun

This lovely shrub is commonly called Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow because of the three colors of its blooms. They start out purple (yesterday), fade to lavender (today), and then to white (tomorrow). All three colors are present on the shrub at the same time. The blooms are fragrant. Although the shrub is typically 4-6 feet tall, I like to keep mine pruned down to 3 feet to improve the shape of the shrub.
