    Tuberous-rooted plant with large ornamental leaves and spikes of white flowers in spring followed by colorful berries.
    For best results (if planting more than one of these plants), space them at least a foot apart from each other.
    Landscape uses:
    Plant painted arum in small groups in a woodland garden among other plants that will fill in the empty space left when it becomes dormant. Arums are prized as foliage plants and their leaves are attractive in flower arrangements.
