This is a great ground cover plant that spreads rapidly in moist shade, will grow in dry shade once established.
The purple /blue flowers are a beautiful color in the spring. plant some red tulips among this plant for a royal color display
The flowers are best cut off after blooming for a tidy appearance but not necessary for the plants sake.
This plant will also grow in sun but takes water , In shade water the first season to establish then no further watering is necessary here in zone 5
Can become invasive in some areas , spread by runners .
