This caladium was developed by Frank Wharton of Tarpon Springs, FL. Frank was a hobbyist caladium hybridizer and named this caladium after his wife. Recent investigation has turned up this information and the error in the spelling. At Classic Caladiums, we are changing to the correct spelling in our websites.
