Broccoli is really easy to grow, very easy to start from seed actually. But the Waltham variety seedlings are available in 6 packs at the local nurseries in the spring. So I often buy seedlings. Waltham makes a nice head of broccoli.

I've never heard of the Waltham variety before today, but it sounds and looks like a great one to grow and eat! I'll have to look for plants in the garden centers this spring and make space for a couple of containers on our patio.

I might try this variety. The other times I have tried to grow broccoli, it has been a disappointment.
