This is my husband's favorite and I love it too.

I look forward to seeing the flowers each year, even though it blooms later in my zone 6a summer growing season. I love the bright, all purple color of the furry blooms and the calyxes. The overall look of the Grayish-green leaf color, the whitish stems and the all purple flowers is striking.

As it is an annual (tender perennial) for me, I need to plant it every year.
