Lycoris longitube is a nearly white trumpet-form that is quite hardy. It blooms early, about the time L. squamigera blooms in zones 5 and 6.

The wide, strap-like foliage appears in spring. There are light pink forms and pale yellow forms, possibly due to past hybridization with sprengeri or chinensis.
