I first grew this gorgeous Salvia in a 20-inch container in 2006 and fell in love with it! The textured leaves and the color of the flowers are what made me love it! I couldn't keep my eyes off it that year! I keep thinking to myself, why didn't I know about this one years before!

I grew it the second time in 2011 and was excited to find it (mail order) because I love it so much!

We had a very unseasonably warm winter and it survived in a 24-inch container. I was very excited in spring 2012 to see it growing and blooming!

It's still in the 24-inch container and even though I've ordered another 'San Carlos Festival' plant for 2013 spring, I'm hoping the previous one survives this winter!

Grow this wonderful Salvia and you'll be happy you did!
