I'm growing Lantana 'Red Spread' for the first time this year. I'm growing it by itself in a 20-inch container on our sunny patio. I love it! Love all the bright and colorful flowers and so do the hummingbirds! All the red and yellow-orange flowers attracted the attention of at least one hummingbird! I was looking outside at our patio and the back yard, noticed and watched a hummingbird getting nectar from all the flowers, darting here and there and not missing any. I'm sure they've been "working" all the flowers for weeks, even though I didn't see them. It warmed my heart with happiness.

I decided right then that I'm growing this variety of Lantana every year! Maybe I'll grow a couple of plants every year for the hummingbirds and the bright color.
