Chrysanthemum x morifolium 'Hot Salsa' is my favorite Chrysanthemum to grow!

I love the daisy-style Chrysanthemums and there's only one place (that I know of) locally to get 'Hot Salsa' (every year). I try to get it in late summer to early fall because it blooms earlier than other Mums and sells out quickly when it's in bloom, so I have to 'time it right' to get there when they set out gallon-size pots of it! Sometimes when I get to the garden center, I get lucky and I find approx. half a dozen pots of HS, so I get 3 one-gallon pots of it to take home and enjoy the blooms even more!

I grow it as an annual in a container, deadhead the faded blooms every day to promote more flowering, and enjoy it thoroughly until it's finished flowering!

    It's a beauty of a Mum!
