A rare plant in the southeast, Cumberland Rosinweed (Silphium brachiatum) is upright and branched, up to 6 feet tall, and has mid-to-late-summer, 2 inch, yellow, daisy-like flowers. It needs full sun and average soil. Butterflies love its flowers and later, birds like the seeds.
