Good Impression is reblooming this year, even though it has been hot and dry. I don't think it has always done so. I think it liked its new situation with compost last spring. We are in 7a.

I got 2 double fans of Good Impression from Oakes in late Summer 2020. By summer of '21 it was a nice clump but sadly developed Spring sickness and looked pitiful. It rallied however, and ended up with some nice blooms that summer. In Spring '22 it has again developed Spring sickness. I have had it on other plants in my garden, but this is the only one that is so severely affected. I'm not sure if this cultivar is more susceptible to it, but I'll see what happens this summer.

Well, this is now the fourth season with Good Impression, and predictably it has developed Spring sickness for the fourth time. Sadly I have decided to cull it and replace with another cultivar.
