'Shoutin' The Blues' has one of Dan Bachman's previous introductions, 'Ben Bachman', in its parentage. 'Ben Bachman' was named for Dan and Jackie's son.

I started growing 'Shoutin' The Blues' in 2003 when Dan introduced it, but by the next year, I gave back to him the many fans that increased after planting one fan. It is a fast grower and I don't have the space for a Daylily that increases rapidly.
