Gavin Petit is a beautiful daylily that has stuggled in my Zone 5 hot, humid location. It is growing in full sun, with a light covering of mulch. It has been kept weed-free. My original double fan has increased only to 6 fans in 4 years' time. I have been successful using its pollen, but I have not yet set a pod on this plant. I have enjoyed growing it and it does have a beautiful bloom, but I think it has not been terribly happy to be here.

Pat236	On June 17, 2021	Bloomed First bloom ever on plants in the back bed flats. The bloom was very low in the foliage.

Pat236	On May 25, 2016	Plant emerged Noticed a new scape on the plant that was damaged by the hail. This plant was received I the fall of 2015 form Park Lane as a bonus.
Pat236	On May 18, 2016	Obtained plant Received a nice double fan from Wynn's Daylily Garden as a bonus to replace the scape that was broken due to the hail.
