Recently described small, creeping aloe from Madagascar with recurved blue-green to brown leaves stacked on prostrate stems to about 16 inches long. Plants branch from the base and can form large clumps over time. Leaves have red teeth and red tubercles on top and bottom surfaces, though the actual number and density may vary widely from one clone to the next. Inflorescence is short and unbranched, with laxly flowered racemes and 2-9 orange-red flowers, each constricted above the base and tinged yellow near the mouth.

Described in 2006. Found in one location in southwest Madagascar growing on limestone near sea level. Related to A. millotii. Not uncommon in cultivation, due its prolific habit, but still somewhat pricey.
