    Planted last year, but did not bloom, so the first bloom was eagerly awaited and did not disappoint. This is a wonderful color, the bloom really shows up.

    This plant is the most rust prone plant in my garden. It finally got to the point there was not a single leaf on this plant.

Never saw any sign of a scape, but this plant bloomed today and the bloom was almost on the ground it was so low, the scape must have barely been visible before it bloomed.
