This little viola is native to Australia. The flowers are usually pale in coloration. It is easy to grow but is seldom grown in gardens in favor of the showier violas.

This is not hardy in my zone, but it is a lovely soil cover for larger potted plants, or cascading out of a pot by itself. It loves moist soil and resents drying out, but if you can keep it evenly moist, it will thrive and bloom all year.
