A historic yellow daffodil bred by P D Williams (England) in 1927, with awards almost too many to count. Awards - FCFA (1st Class Forcing Award) 1938, FA (Forcing Award) 1936, FCC (First Class Certificate) 1936, AM (Award of Merit) 1927, 1930, 1931, 1932, and 1933.
Havelock is also significant as a seed (five times) and pollen parent (one time). Mostly English breeders and one American utilized its fertility between 1939 and 1946.
