HVH: "'Purple Hat Society' blooms with a lovely mix of red and lavender with ruffly petaloids rising out of the center like the flourish in a fancy hat. The 6-8" flowers come from the same cross as 'Night Magic,' which was 'Born To Be Wild' and 'The Color Purple'. The influence of grandparent 'Midnight Blue' can be seen in both 'Purple Hat Society' and 'Night Magic.'
The bush is upright, and medium in both size and vigor. 'Purple Hat Society' was named after the wonderful, wild, and crazy ladies with their lavish purple and red hats in the human version of this society. Released from HVH in 2010."
