HVH: "'Space Oddity' is one of the most colorful flowers we have seen. Its famous parent, 'Fifth Dimension', often produces offspring that are paler versions of itself, but in this case the opposite happened. 'Space Oddity' is a more vivid version of 'Fifth Dimension', and, like 'Fifth Dimension', the colors fade attractively during the day. The 6-8" blooms sometimes reflex when opening but flatten out later in the day.

The bush is upright and similar in habit to 5th Dimension. 'Space Oddity' is a very unusual cultivar, to say the least! It is the offspring of 'Rainbow Christie' and 'Fifth Dimension'. Released from HVH in 2006."
