This has become one of my favorite annual flowers here in my zone. Gorgeous showy magenta blooms are long-lasting. The plant is a re-bloomer. It produces many seeds and the seeds are also edible as are the young leaves. The color remains good for a long time. The plant doesn't seem to be bothered by many pests or diseases.
