DH and I love broccoli!
We like it either raw, cooked or steamed. I'm thinking this variety is the one most often found in grocery stores and the variety that most people think of with broccoli.
We prefer to buy the ones that are grown in the USA. I've never grown broccoli before, but maybe I'll think about growing it in a container.

Does well as a fall planting. Large plant, medium central head, many side shoots.

Grew this one as an early spring crop and it did fairly well, but the weather had warmed a bit too much after harvesting the central head so side shoots never really had a chance. Flavor was very good. Will try as a fall crop next season.
