Yellow-flowered greenish Aeonium from coastal cliffs (mostly) in Morocco which resembles the other members of this species, which are from the Canary Islands. Rosettes 4-10 inches. Upright stems. Elevated to a species in 1989 and subsequently reduced to a subspecies.

This subspecies can be distinguished based on its hairy leaves, which are rounded and usually lack a point, and broader elliptical petals. Uncommon in cultivation, especially compared to the other subspecies of arboreum.
