Dark purple, Imperator cello-shaped roots, firm texture, and a mild, sweet flavor. A full purple carrot. It does defy convention. When spring planted, it bolts with increasing daylight. First carrot I have grown that seeds within 5 months of planting. I will try as a fall planting for winter harvest. January 2015. Very productive as a fall planting. Taste is not that great.
