    Described to science by Dr. Thomas Croat in 2013. endemic to Colombia in wet premontane forest growing as a lithophyte. Not closely related to any other known published species at that time.Named for Genevieve Ferry, Conservatoire et Jardins Botaniques de Nancy, France
