I occasionally see the Pyramidal English Oak planted in public or professional landscapes in the Midwest, the Mid-Atlantic, or the Northeast US. A good number of larger, diverse nurseries grow and/or sell some in eastern North America. It is said that this cultivar is propagated from seed, coming out with about 80 to 90% of the seedlings becoming columnar in shape, so there is some variation in the trees.
