    This plant survived our unusually cold winter, snow ice and freezing temperatures, outside in a container with no protection. Although the top died back, it is coming back from the roots with impressive vigor.

    This is a new plant for me but I can already tell this one has a greater need for water than its cousin the Bouvardia ternifolia. I can find little information on the parentage for this hybrid.
