I have now gone through a complete year of growing this wonderful, medium sized sempervivum.

Once it established roots nothing seems to slow it down. Not drought or a very long cold and wet winter. We had as much as 6 inches of rain in one 24 hour period this last Jan. Not a speck of rot on this tough little semp.

It will be interesting to see how it does this year on offset production. Last summer it seemed to produce 3 or 4 offsets per rosette.

The color changes throughout the season is wonderful, from a solid green to solid red, and differing amounts of green/red combinations through the growing season. For my area it returns to solid green sometime in October.
