This is one of the larger and common cultivars that I discovered in the Chicago, Illinois area in the early 1990's. Its blades are wide and white variegated. Like the other larger cultivars it begins nicely, but eventually after more than ten years gets large and very thick growing and the center of the clump dies out and it falls over some. It is hard to dig up as a large plant and to divide. It is better to look for one of the newer dwarf cultivar that is variegated.
