    RHS description 'Fl. 95 mm wide; perianth segments ovate, brilliant yellow, with white mucro, reflexed, finely ribbed, twisted, regular, overlapping up to a quarter; corona cylindrical, narrow, smooth, sometimes slightly constricted at mid-point, much deeper than vivid yellow, paling slightly towards base, mouth ribbed, expanded, obscurely 6-lobed, rim flanged and strongly crenate.' www.rhs.org.uk
    Resembles an earlier-flowered `Bartley'
