Artist Hybrid / Gherkin Fine spined gherkins resemble handling a small hedgehog, but the skin is tender, the taste is not bitter -raw or pickled. This fruit is parthenocarpic ( does not require pollination), fairly consistent in size, and is highly resistant to Cucumber Mosaic Virus, with additional resistance to other common cucumber diseases. The vines are indeterminate in length. Seeds will probably NOT come true to the parent plant.
