Native plant to TX, AZ, and NM. The leaves, flowers, and seed pods are edible, being high in vitamin C, but use sparingly as it is high in oxalic acid. Woodsorral will self-seed, and can handle transplanting, but is not invasive like Oxalis dillenii (yellow flower). Will bloom in either sun or shade.
