    Native in the Pacific Northwest from Alaska to California, and east to Alberta and Nevada. Found in moist to well-drained soil at low to mid elevations. I find this jolly plant here and there in my back woods, but rarely in my garden beds. Not nearly the thug that R. repens can be.
