    Deno found that it germinates at room temperature in either light or dark; stratification not required (Seed Germination Theory and Practice, Dr. N. Deno).

May be seeds, of cultivar, 'Blue Lace'. Leaving at room temperature, for now. If no germination within ten days, will begin using cold stratification, treatment method.

Turning out to be a nice shade of blue. May cross pollinate with other, having more "collars" of bract. (Surprised at loss of only one, as February was very rainy, with record precipitation amount, in top ten.
