This little plant showed up in one of my miniature garden containers and I have been very pleased. It stays small, but will creep over the edge, producing nice tiny flowers almost constantly.
Unfortunately, may not be hardy in my zone (5), so I have collected seeds and am currently trying to root a cutting for the house (to overwinter).

Reseeds nicely so I have not had to collect seeds
I have taken small plants inside to over winter and been very pleased
the one in the south window has stays small and flowered most of the winter
The one in the larger pot in the north room has trailed over the edge and the leaves are much larger , no flowers

Cymbalaria muralis flowers are hermaphrodite (have both male and female organs) and are pollinated by bees and self. The plant is self-fertile. Will self sow freely.

Does well in light, medium, and heavy soils. Prefers a moderately good soil and some shade.

This grows quite nicely on the north side of my house amid hostas (Pacific Northwest Zone 8). It climbs up the side of rough cedar siding, but does not envelop the wall. Easy to pull where not wanted. Has a delicate look to it, but is very tenacious.
